Private Lakeside Property in a Secluded Bay – Long Shoreline on Lake Mälaren A rare opportunity to acquire a truly unique waterfront property with an exceptional location in a sheltered bay on Lake Mälaren. This scenic plot spans 2,742 sqm and offers approximately 120 meters of private shoreline , full sun exposure from morning to evening, and complete privacy surrounded by tranquil forest landscapes. The property features a charming holiday home of approximately 70 sqm , comprising three rooms and a kitchen. Large windows in the living area frame stunning views over the lake. The house was tastefully renovated in 2017 (excluding the bathroom) and is heated with electricity and a cozy bioethanol fireplace. In addition to the main building, there is a fully furnished guest cottage of about 20 sqm , a storage shed, and an outbuilding with a composting toilet. Two spacious wooden decks — one facing the water and one for enjoying the morning sun — offer the perfect setting to soak in the sun throughout the day. The plot also includes a private bathing jetty and parking space via a private driveway . According to the local zoning plan, the property allows for a total building area of 150 sqm over two floors , subject to connection to municipal water and sewage. Work to extend these services in the area has already begun. Currently, lake water is connected to the kitchen and bathroom. To ease the transition for the new owner, the seller plans to install a combustion toilet, water heater, and filtration system for lake water prior to transfer of ownership, if desired. This location offers the perfect balance of seclusion and nature with proximity to services. Just a short drive away, you'll find Strömsholm , known for its rich cultural heritage, cafés, and restaurants, as well as the town of Köping , which provides a full range of amenities.
